so i had to post a few more images from the LA based jewelry line mctega that i found via fader (see post below). everything is made from resin and looks like rock candy! must get my hands on one of those necklaces..

synthetic resin is a type of plastic that is used for varnishes, adhesives and nail polish.. you see it used a lot in art. for these necklaces it probably started off as a liquid, was put into a mold, it hardened and then volià you have jewelry that looks like rock candy!
